The Congress has released its candidate list for the 2026 Pondicherry Assembly elections, announcing 16 names just after the nomination process ended. The list includes well-known leaders like V. Vaithilingam, M. Vaithiyanathan, and Ramesh Parambath, along with several other experienced candidates.
